Course objectives are; to identify the concepts of recreation and urban recreation areas and to provide general information about planning and designing principles of children playgrounds in urban areas.
To give general information about the concepts of urban green spaces, recreation, urban recreation areas and children playgrounds. To provide general information about planning and designing principles of children playgrounds in urban areas. Visiting the playgrounds in the city of Aydın, to determine the planning and designing errors of children playgrounds in the urban areas. To assess the problems in playgrounds and to preserve the solutions.
