Objectives of the Course

The aim of the Professional Practice II course is to enable students to apply the theoretical knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies in professional practice environments, to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical applications, to gain professional experience, to improve their problem-solving and decision-making skills, to strengthen their understanding of work discipline and teamwork, and to contribute to their acquisition of professional ethics and a sense of responsibility.

Course Content

Professional Practice II covers applications related to the fields of activity of the Department of Animal Science. Within the scope of the course, students participate in routine animal care, feeding, breeding, health management, and production activities carried out at the Animal Production Unit of the department and improve their practical professional skills. In addition, they gain knowledge about research and development projects conducted by faculty members and observe research-related processes. The course also includes technical visits to livestock enterprises, institutions, and companies, enabling students to become familiar with sectoral practices, production systems, and professional working environments.
