Objectives of the Course

The aim of the Professional Practice course is to enable students to apply the theoretical knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies in professional practice environments, to gain professional experience, to improve their problem-solving and decision-making competencies, to strengthen their understanding of work discipline and teamwork, and to contribute to their acquisition of professional ethics and responsibility awareness.

Course Content

The course includes practical applications related to the field of activity of the Animal Science Department. Accordingly, students participate in daily routine tasks and procedures carried out in the Animal Husbandry Unit of the Animal Science Department, observe animal production activities on-site, and provide support for practical applications. They also learn about research projects conducted by the department's faculty members and become familiar with the processes related to research and development activities. To strengthen collaboration with the sector, technical trips are organized to businesses and firms operating in the animal husbandry field, ensuring the development of students' professional knowledge and experience.
