Objectives of the Course

To teach adult training techniques to raise the living standards in rural areas. To get information and skills about carrying out and programming activities that will be held parallel to this purpose. To earn ability to transfer innovations and to ensure behavioral changes for the development of rural people living in rural areas.

Course Content

Definition, history and philosophy of agricultural extension; importance, objective, and relationships with other disciplines, contribution of agricultural extension to the rural development, principles of agricultural extension, subject areas, development of agricultural extension systems and approaches in the world and in Turkey, communications techniques, program planning , adult education, promotion and dissemination of innovations, publishing tools and methods, group work techniques, extension program preparation, execution and evaluation

5.Gaining the skills to prepare, execute and evaluate publication programs and the ability to provide services in rural areas.
