Objectives of the Course

To provide students with the knowledge of physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive characteristics and abnormal and normal cases according to the child's developmental stages.

Course Content

Childhood developmental theories, factors affecting development of the child, the role of the nurse in the process of growth and development examined.

2.To be able to explain the factors that affect growth development
3.To be able to explain the theories according to periods of childhood growth and development
4.To be able to evaluate the childhood motor, cognitive, psychosocial, and personality development according to age periods.
5.To be aware of.child's motor, cognitive, psychosocial, personality development issues and \ or deviation from normal conditions.
