Objectives of the Course

Under every cicumstances provide individuals, families and the community nursing service by providing the necessary knowledge and skills in the areas of application is intended to reflect the nursing process.

Health Promotion, Health Management, Health Education and Counselling, Maternal and Child Health Nursing, Environmental Health Nursing, Population and Migration, Violence and Abuse in Family and Community, Workplace and School Nursing

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able comprehend the importance of nursing care in providing and preseving health care at Individual, family and community-levels and to understand the social and cultural factors affecting health.
2.To be able establish a positive communication with individuals, families and groups and maintain it
3.To be able to recognise risk groups regarding serious health problems through providing preventive, healing and developing health care to indivuals, family and community.
4.To be able use use of health care services effectively during the nursing process.
5.To be able to provide health training to individuals, families and groups,
6.To be able provide active participation of individual/family or community during health care service, and cooparate individual / family or to provide the active participation of society. To cooperate with team members and members of other professions.
7.To be able to gain the ability to improve professional development and life long learning in order to provide effective and sufficient health care, also to develop awareness about his/her needs in learning, taking responsibility and professional development.
