It aims to ensure rapid assessment of patients in emergency situations or presenting to the emergency service due to acute and chronic diseases, achievement of triage by adhering to professional ethics and values, the importance of teamwork in emergency interventions and understanding of evidence-based care in accordance with the nursing process.
Presentation of emergency service, communication, legal and ethical issues, triage, physical assessment, basic and advanced life support, infection control, evaluation of criminal cases, polytrauma patients, some of the acute medical emergencies.

| 6. | To be able to comprehend emergency situations of chronic diseases (asthma attacks, diabetic ketoacidosis, hypoglycemia, etc.) and the importance of implementing evidence based individual nursing care of a patient who presents to the emergency service due to acute diseases (AMI, ARDS, stroke, etc.) in accordance with the nursing process |
