The purpose of this course is to evaluate specific requirements of individuals and patients who need home care services and to make them comprehend the importance of required care planning.
To be able to comprehend roles and responsibilities of home care team, the importance of communicating with patients, families and other health professionals effectively, behaving in accordance with ethical principles and patients' rights while planning individuals’ and families’ care, and the planning of appropriate care for patients with an acute or chronic disease or in the terminal phase

| 2. | To be able to comprehend the stages and principles of home visits, and the importance of behaving in accordance with ethical principles and patients' rights while planning ways to communicate effectively with other health professionals, and individuals’ and families’ care |
| 3. | To be able to identify interventions regarding nutrition, excretion, activity / exercise, and circulatory and respiratory function of patients with acute or chronic disease or in the terminal stage in a way appropriate for individuals’ developmental characteristics |
