The objective of this course is to teach students the fundamentals and intricacies of publishing media, such as layout design, multi-page design, and magazine and book design. Utilizing an editorial approach and content creation methodologies, the course aims to develop competencies in the advanced use of technology (PO1), multi-dimensional design skills (PO3), and digital media design practice (PO11) from the program outcomes.
Within the scope of this course, various of projects are given to be explored the designing process, editorial approaches and building content in magazine and book mediums with the accompaniment of preparing a design mediums -from single page to multiply pages- to be printed in industrial norms, and also comprehending the different types of papers, inks and printing techniques.
