Objectives of the Course

The aim is to introduce students to various aspects of printmaking, enabling them to transform abstract and concrete concepts into creative designs, produce graphic solutions using advanced printmaking techniques, and develop the skills needed to build a professional portfolio.

Course Content

The historical development of printmaking; relief printing techniques (linoleum, wood, etc.); studies in visual language and composition; the stages of transitioning from sketch to print; multicolor printmaking techniques; and the processes of editioning and personal portfolio design.

Learning Outcomes
1.It explains the historical development of printmaking, its basic concepts, and its various technical characteristics.
2.He transforms abstract and concrete concepts into two-dimensional, original print compositions through creative thinking.
3.Using various relief printing (linoleum, wood, etc.) tools and materials, the artist applies technical skill to the design process from sketch to print.
4.Takes responsibility for producing original works while upholding copyright laws and professional ethical principles in the design and production processes.
5.Throughout the course, students prepare and present their limited-edition print works as a portfolio that meets professional standards.
