Objectives of the Course

The goal is to enable students to develop their own unique illustrative styles and to help them create professional portfolios by equipping them with the ability to transform abstract and concrete concepts into creative and innovative visual works.

Course Content

This course analyzes and applies the role of illustration in commercial and artistic fields, research on visual language and style, the visualization of abstract concepts, digital illustration techniques, editorial and commercial illustration practices, and personal portfolio design processes.

1.It analyzes the historical development of illustration and its role in both commercial and artistic spheres from a critical perspective.
2.It transforms abstract and concrete concepts into innovative and original visual narratives through creative thinking.
3.Applies visual production skills while taking into account copyright, professional ethics, and aesthetic values in design processes.
4.Effectively integrates various illustration techniques and the latest digital design tools into project development processes.
5.The student prepares and presents an original portfolio of work produced throughout the course, in accordance with professional design standards.
