The aim of the course is to provide the students with an understanding of eating and metabolic diseases and to teach them the basic principles of nutritional therapy.
Eating disorders, metabolic diseases, nutritional therapy in eating disorders, nutritional therapy in metabolic disorders.
| 1. | To be able to learn the clinical and biochemical findings, screening strategies in inborn errors of metabolism |
| 2. | To be able to learnthe principle of nutrition therapy in IMD |
| 3. | To be able to become skillful at preparing diet therapy of IMD patients |
| 4. | Will be able to apply nutritional therapy in eating behavior disorders. |
| 5. | Define other eating disorders (orthorexia, binge eating, etc.) and plan nutritional treatment. |
