Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is to help students develop intermediate-level English terminology and language skills related to their professional field.

Course Content

This course focuses on teaching intermediate-level English grammar, as well as the skills needed to understand reading passages related to the professional field and answer questions about them.

1.Correctly identifies and uses English technical terminology and vocabulary related to their field of study in the appropriate context.
2.Conducts a structural analysis of the text by identifying the verb tenses, word structures, conjunctions, and subordinate clauses found in professional texts.
3.Accurately analyzes the main idea and supporting ideas of English reading passages related to the subject area.
4.Answers questions about English texts related to their field of study, based on the arguments and evidence presented in the text.
5.Effectively utilizes English-language print and digital resources related to their field in their professional research and practice.
