Objectives of the Course

To be able to comprehend the place and importance of ethical behavior in sports management, to discuss unethical events, to reveal unethical behaviors, to explain the ethical behavior of sports managers and unethical behaviors in sports.

Course Content

Professional Ethics and Social Responsibility, Ethical Behavior in Sports, Fair Play, Sports Manager and Unethical Behavior in Sports, Professional Ethical Principles of Sports Manager, Prevention of Unethical Events in Sports Management.

1.Have general knowledge about the rules and practices in competitive and recreational sports.
2.Discuss and evaluate ethical and moral issues in sports.
3.Gains the ability to make ethical decisions through his/her own critical thinking.
4.Identifies and explains the internal and external factors that shape and affect sports in Türkiye and the world.
5.Understand how ethical behavior affects the financial, marketing, and managerial decision-making processes of a sports organization.
