The aim of this introduction of Cell Cycle and Regulation is to identify the cell cycle with the mechanisms that control the cell cycle, explain the conservation of the cell cycle in evolutional process and exert the relation with cancer.
In content of this course cell cycle, genetic regulation and checkpoints, proteins which taking part in this points and their interactions, relation of intracellular components with the cycle, cell cycle arrest, lose of control and cancer topics will be discussed.
| 1. | To be able to comprehend the cell cycle and checkpoints |
| 2. | To be able to explain cell cycle progression in checkpoints and interactions between attendant components |
| 3. | To be able to discuss functions of cyclins, cdk's and its inhibitors over literature |
| 4. | To be able to associate extracellular and intracellular factors with cell cycle |
| 5. | To be able to explain the importance of cell cycle regulation and its relation with cancer |
