Objectives of the Course

The aim of course administration is oncogenes and carcinogenesis, describe and explain the effects of the genes that causing cancer, description the process of carcinogenesis.

Course Content

In content of this course related with cancer roles of oncogenes in cell cycle and carsinogenesis, onco-proteins, functions together with tumor supressor genes, tumor develop and metastasis will be discussed by using scientific papers.

1.To be able to explain the functions and products of oncogenes and their relation with cell cycle and cancer.
2.To be able to explain the functions and products of tumor supressor genes and their relation with cell cycle and cancer.
3.To be able to discuss on samples and by using scientific papers the accumulation of mutations in carsinogenesis and how its occur step by step.
4.To be able to comprehend the relation between metastasis and events developing after tumor growth and new characteristics that acquired.
