Objectives of the Course

To give information about plant-human relations. To teach the correct usage about useful plants.

Course Content

Definition and history of ethnobotany. Methods to be followed in ethnobotanical studies. Considerations in the preparation and implementation of the questionnaire forms. Plant-human relations throughout history. The usage of plants. The origin of cultivated and cultivated crops. Name and brief description of important herbs used in use such as tea, coffee and legumes. Naturally occurring dye plants in our country and their biological properties
