Objectives of the Course

This course provides information on the requirements for gene expression in prokaryotes and eukaryotes, methods and techniques used to manipulate DNA, gene transfer methodologies, strategies to identify and analyze transgene, the importance of transgenics in medicine and biotechnology, gene therapy applications and current approaches to gene therapy.

DNA-RNA recombinant techniques, transgenic animal, genetics and ethics, cloning technique, Gene transfer systems and methods, Gene therapy approaches and strategies, production process of transgenics and transgene analysis, application areas of transgenics
