There are numerous types of repayable and non-repayable scholarships and credits available, mainly arranged by the General Directorate of Credit and Dormitories Agency, and other state or private institutions for students of Higher Education. Students can also obtain grants from the Turkish Education Association (TEV), the Ministry of National Education and grants for living expenses or for only meals.
In 2005, a student support fund was founded at Adnan Menderes University and has been providing scholarships to students with economic disadvantages. Students are selected according to data collected from the Student Affairs Offices of the faculties and schools.
Students can also work on a part time basis in different administrative departments of the university. These part time students have both the opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills and gain work experience. The number of part time students working at Adnan Menderes University in the Academic Year 2012 – 2013 is 300.
