The aim of this course is to equip students with the fundamental knowledge and skills of first aid in order to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, and promote recovery until professional medical assistance arrives in cases of accidents, injuries, and sudden illnesses. In addition, the course aims to develop students’ ability to respond correctly and consciously to emergency situations that may occur in tourism and hospitality workplaces.

The course covers essential topics such as scene safety, basic life support, airway obstruction, bleeding, injuries, fractures, burns, poisoning, and emergency management. In addition, case-based applications related to emergencies in tourism and hospitality establishments are included to enhance students’ sector-specific awareness and practical understanding.
