Objectives of the Course

The aim is to enable students to learn the basic principles, concepts, and applications of labor law and social security law; to understand the processes of establishing, implementing, and terminating employment contracts, as well as the rights and obligations of employees and employers; and to acquire the knowledge and skills to evaluate the functioning of the social security system, insurance branches, and social security rights.

Course Content

In this lesson; The historical development and basic principles of labor law, the scope of the employment contract, its parties, the rights and obligations of the parties, types of employment contracts and termination of the employment contract are discussed. In addition, the historical development, scope and basic principles of social security law, rights provided within the scope of the social security system, general health insurance, short-term insurance branches and long-term insurance branches are examined in detail. The course aims to enable students to evaluate legal situations they may encounter in their working lives, to apply labor and social security legislation, and to gain awareness of their legal rights and responsibilities in their professional lives.
