Objectives of the Course

To comprehend general and basic cooperatives knowledge, to comprehend the present global and national importance, to evaluate the aims of cooperatives, to examine social and economic reasons of cooperatives movement

Course Content

To define and explain the principles of cooperatives. To learn the reasons for cooperatives and how they are managed. Understand the forms of co-operatives and their place within legal legal frameworks. To understand the difference between cooperatives and other non-agricultural enterprises.

Learning Outcomes
1.Evaluates the problems encountered at micro and macro level in the field of cooperatives with an analytical approach, develops sustainable solutions and implements them with a sense of ethical responsibility.
2.Carries out accounting, recording and reporting processes in cooperative management in accordance with the legislation; It collects and analyzes data specific to the field of cooperatives and contributes to decision-making processes by developing rational interpretations.
3.To carry out the establishment, organization, and management processes of cooperatives and their umbrella organizations in accordance with relevant legislation; and to perform administrative and individual duties with a sense of independent responsibility.
4.They can fulfill assigned tasks and responsibilities by acquiring the skills to foster a culture of solidarity and establish communication.
5.Integrates the basic theoretical and practical knowledge of the disciplines of economics, business, law and communication with the professional standards required by cooperative practices; It produces solutions with an interdisciplinary perspective in cooperative management processes.
6.Follows global, national and local cooperative movements and sectoral developments; analyzes this information and integrates it into professional practice processes.
