Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to introduce the students fruit, vegetable, ornamental plant and grape species and to teach them the basic information on growing.

Course Content

The importance of horticulture; historical develepment of horticulture; biological characters of horticulture plants; ecological requirements of horticulture plants; the propagation techniques in horticulture plants; the growing techniques of horticulture plants.
