Objectives of the Course

Learning how they were designed and restored in the different types of fishing gears. Fishing gear material selection, fishing gear construction and make repair of fishing gears. To understand basic concept behind the gear design and parameters involved in

Course Content

Design of trawl gears. Design of gillnets. The materials used in the making of the fishing gear, fishing net factories and manufacturing technologies. To prepare the fishing gear patterns. Equipment in accordance with the purpose to do set-ups. Fishing gears to make the knitting process. The construction of the fishing gears to select the appropriate rope. According to the number of eye opening and cutting. Determine the length of reeving, lead, and buoys to make the collar assembly.
